We are looking for someone who combines an interest in Computer Graphics and software engineering, with the ambition to do research in Virtual Reality and Collaborative Virtual Environments. At the same time s/he should be able to transfer this knowledge to companies and institutions in the form of advanced research prototypes developed to solve real-world needs. The selected candidate will have one or more years of experience in Computer Graphics and/or Virtual Reality. Other case, having a Master Thesis in this area will be taken into account. He/she should have the ability to manage research projects, as well as initiative, leadership and flexibility to adapt to new challenges. The selected candidates will be responsible of the coordination of R&D projects, the preparation of applied research proposals, and the acquisition of national and international R&D projects, in concordance with the objectives specified by the Management. Scientific excellence must be accompanied by a clear applied research profile, in which the constant contact with industrial partners and other institutions if essential. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills, as well as english proficiency, are a must (spanish/basque are highly recommended, german is also considered).
